Charging your Galaxy Note8


For fastest charging times, use the Adaptive Fast Charger that came with your phone. You can also fast charge your phone by using a Wireless charger (not included).

Important: Only use charging devices and batteries approved by Samsung. Samsung accessories are designed for your phone to maximize battery life. Using other accessories may invalidate your warranty and may cause damage.

Note: Screens and settings available may vary depending on your Canadian wireless service provider and your software version.

Turn On Fast Cable Charging


1. From the Home screen, swipe up or down to access the Apps screen.

2. Touch Settings Settings.

3. Touch Device maintenance.

4. Touch Battery.

5. Touche the More options icon.

6. Touch Advanced settings.

7. To turn on Fast cable charging, touch the slider.

Fast Charging


1. Insert the USB cable into the USB charger/accessory port.

2. Connect the USB cable to the Adaptive Fast Charger and then plug the assembly into a standard outlet.

3. Unplug the Adaptive Fast Charger from the outlet and remove the USB cable from the phone when charging is complete.

Turn On Fast Wireless Charging


Important: This setting will only be available after a wireless charger has been connected to the phone.

7. To turn on Fast wireless charging, touch the slider.

Important: Fast wireless charging option is not available until you use a fast wireless charger.

Wireless Charging


While charging, your phone and the charger may become hot when using wireless or fast charging. This does not affect the phone's lifespan or performance and is in the phone's normal range of operation.

To charge your phone wirelessly, place it on top of the wireless charging station.

Note : The charger may stop charging if the battery becomes too hot.
