Galaxy Note8 - How do I manage icons in the quick settings panel on my Samsung Galaxy Note8 (SM-N950W)?

Quick Settings Panel

With your Note8, you can have all the functions you need at your fingertips. The Quick Settings Panel lets you enable and disable various functions quickly and easily. You can change the grid setting of the icons or buttons and rearrange the buttons any way you choose. Done and done.

Button Order

Perhaps the first thing you do when you turn on your phone is connect to Wi-Fi. Change the order of the buttons in Quick Settings so the Wi-Fi button is always at the top of the list. Here’s how:

1. To open the Quick Settings panel, using two fingers, swipe down from the top of the screen.

2. Touch the More Options icon.

4. To move a button, touch and hold it and then drag it into the desired position.

5. Touch DONE to save the change.

Button Grid

Not enough buttons at your disposal? Change the grid formation. You can have as many as 15 buttons and as few as 9 on your Quick Settings panel. It can be done in a few simple steps.

1. To open the Quick Settings panel, using two fingers, swipe down from the top of the screen.

2. Touch the More Options icon.

3. Touch Button grid.

4. Select the desired grid formation and then touch OK.
