The “Your heartbeat” competition at www.your-heartbeat.ch is a competition for marketing purposes organised by Samsung Electronics Switzerland GmbH, Binzallee 4, 8055 Zurich (hereinafter referred to as “Samsung”). The competition is open for entry from 25 February to 11 March 2015.
All questions, comments or complaints regarding the competition should be addressed exclusively to Samsung. Samsung releases its competition partners from any and all liability claims relating to participation in the competition.
Participation is open to all individuals who are at least 13 years old on the day of the competition and who are resident in Switzerland or Liechtenstein. Samsung employees, their relatives, and individuals not resident in Switzerland are excluded from participation. The same applies to members of other companies associated with the competition. Samsung reserves the right to exclude individuals from the competition if they violate these terms and conditions, especially if they attempt to gain advantage through manipulation or make false statements about themselves.
Participation in the “Your heartbeat” competition is via the www.your-heartbeat.ch microsite. Participants must create at least one music video remix of the song Heart Keeps Dancing by James Gruntz. Multiple entries are allowed.
A panel of experts from Samsung will select ten (10) winners from all entries received. Winners will receive a Samsung Galaxy A3, and will be informed of their win via e-mail within three (3) days of the closing date.
Winners must respond to this e-mail within two (2) days of receipt, otherwise they forfeit their claim to the prize. If a winner does not reply to their e-mail, the panel of experts will choose a replacement winner and inform the latter about their win.
The final ten (10) winners will be announced no later than 1 April 2015. The prizes will then be sent to the winners.
The ten (10) winners also have the chance for their version to be chosen via public vote as the official James Gruntz remix on www.www.blickamabend.ch
Information collected during the competition will be stored by Samsung for the duration of the competition and for an additional period of twelve (12) months and may be used for the purposes of marketing and statistics. Any data provided by participants will be kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties. By participating in the competition, participants grant Samsung the right to use the music video that they produce for advertising purposes. This right of use is non-exclusive, applies worldwide and is irrevocable for a period of one (1) year after the end of the competition.
No cash alternative will be offered and the prize may not be exchanged for any other prize. The prize is not transferable. Samsung reserves the right to suspend or terminate the competition at any time if significant reasons render its continuation according to the rules impossible, if abuse of the platform is suspected, or if legal reasons prevent the competition from being held. The judges’ decision is final and will not be subject to legal recourse. Errors and misprints excepted.
