SAMSUNG Electronics built an environment and safety management system that enable to solve environment and safety problem by making our people participate in. Based on the system we will understand possible influence and improve it by making a specific plan. For this system we instruct whole employees as of environment and safety and encourage to make them experts.
Management system of environment and safety is operated in the order of plan -> do -> check -> action. In addition, we check its accomplishment by using internal audit system and promote continuous development through management review. We actively join the environment-friendly corporation system that the government promotes. We are appointed an environment-friendly company as of reducing polluted materials and whole process of the management so that we set precedent to others.
case) ISO 14001 certificate acquisition for American service center
We are guaranteed ISO 14001 Certificate from BVQI in October, 2005 by building a Green Management system in American service center where provide a repair service of LCD products in North America. LCD service centers are located in Korea (Giheung), Europe (Germany), North America (U.S.A.), Asia (Hong Kong, Japan, China), and expected to get ISO 14001 Certificates through whole service center.
