the expansion of waste water treatment control at SEMA corporation (Malaysia)

We actively promote activities in order to prevent environment pollution due to production increase by overseas branch. SAMSUNG Electronics applies the strict management standard for pollutants emission standard and accordingly applied to whole global production plant. SEMA (SAMSUNG Electronics Malaysia) which produces the microwave oven expanded the waste water purification control due to drastic increase of production facility in 2005. By managing the waste water at the amount of 50tom/Hr through expansion of the existing facility of 20tom/Hr, it contributes to observation of Malaysian law, satisfaction to SAMSUNG Electronics standard and minimization of pollution.

Improvement of waste management process of SESK corporation (Slovakia)

SESK which produces large size LCD, PDP TV, etc has saved the process cost and upgraded the recycling by establishing and operating waste reduction target and improving the management process. In 2005, it changed waste management of EPP, tray and the paper box into recycling. Also it accomplished the effect of cost saving of 600 million won/year and upgraded management efficiency through regular monitoring and efficient management of waste managing companies.
