Disk Manager

Some old BIOSs have a capacity barrier and does not recognize the high capacity HDD. In that case, the Disk Manager will solve the capacity barrier.

If you click the "DM Creator.zip", you will get the DM_Creator.zip(For HDD)

For creating the Disk Manager install disk
  • Download the DM_Creator.zip to somewhere on your hard drive
  • Extract it. You can see the DM_Creator.exe.
  • Prepare an empty 3.5" floppy diskette and inset it into your FDD.
  • Execute the DM_Creator.exe. (Then, Disk Manager install disk will be created.)

Precaution
  • For CMOS setup with hard drive, select Auto Detect or type parameters as Cyl : 1024 / Hd : 16 / Sec : 63
  • If the parameter is set up as 'None', Disk Manager can not be installed.
  • If you have 32GB barrier, you must use the 'Limit Capacity to 32GB' jumper setting.

Executing
  • After installing hardware(Jumpers, Cables)
  • Insert and boot from the Disk Manager install diskette
  • Then you can see following screen

  • Press Next if you agree.
  • Then, Below windows will appear.

  • Press Yes if you want to.
  • It's possible to skip below step if you have only one drive

  • Select one drive you want to and press Next.
  • You must choose one from below list
  • If you want to use the Windows XP, select the Windows 2000.
    If you want to use the Windows XP, select the Windows 2000.
  • Select the OS and press Next.
  • Please confirm your selections.

  • Press Next if they are correct.
  • A message of completion.
  • If DDO is damaged, you can boot from DDO diskette.

  • Press Next if you done or skip.
  • The end of all steps.

  • Remove the diskette and press Ctrl-Alt-Del to reboot.
