Samsung was one of the first organizations to conduct mmWave 5G studies and laid the groundwork for mmWave to be used for mobile telecommunications. Samsung is uniquely positioned to provide an end-to-end 5G network portfolio, including chipsets, devices, radio and core equipment, as well as professional services based on AI. We have commercially proven this end-to-end 5G solution across both the mmWave and mid-band spectrum.
Samsung has partnered with global key operators in pushing the limits of legacy technologies, moving forward to next generation. The company’s advanced 4G and 5G network solutions are used by customers globally to support mobile networks, and are recognized as the most reliable and secure network while maximizing performance.

Our History
Samsung Networks began its journey more than four decades ago and entered the telecommunications industry. As the industry has evolved, Samsung has been at the forefront, leading changes in the fast-changing environment and commercializing cellular communications services that became the bedrock of modern communications infrastructure, including CDMA, WCDMA, WiMAX, and LTE and 5G.
Samsung has always been at the forefront of change and has supported global operators as they launch new services. Now, we are continuing our position as the industry leader as we hail the beginning of the 5G era. Samsung Networks played a critical role in launching the world’s 1st 5G commercial services across U.S. and Korea, and we will continue to leverage these experiences to expand 5G networks globally.
