In 1992, SAMSUNG Electronics declared an historic environmental policy advocating the preservation of the environment for the betterment of mankind, which we extended with our announcement on "green management" in 1996. Since then, we have embraced green management based on a high degree of respect for the environment, and a firm belief in furthering the health and safety of our customers, our employees and the general public. Green management is split into five categories : greening of management, greening of products, greening of processes, greening of the workplace, and greening of communities.
