MPW (Multi Project Wafer)
Multiple ICs from different customers and/or projects are combined into one single wafer, and one mask contains the same layer of two or more different circuits. This allows the cost to be shared among several customers as well as the functional validation and process compatibility of a variety of IP blocks.
SAMSUNG has shortened the MPW turnaround time for customer benefit, and supports module protection for different projects.
