Evaluation Board
SMDK (SAMSUNG Mobile Development Kit)
SMDK is a development board designed to verify SAMSUNG manufactured APs(application processor) and to develop solutions. memory, LCD and audio codec are mounted on it to help verify all the functions AP supports.
- size: 26 X 18 X 5.5 (cm)
CPU board is differentiated from Base board. - as socket can be embedded into the board, you can conduct tests by replacing chips on the same board.
- as all powers are separated, you can measure current consumption by power in power mode.(Activation of DVS is possible)
- convenient debugging and easy expansion
SMRP(SAMSUNG Mobile Reference Platform)
SMRP is a development platform designed to have modulized features to help create and provide on board solutions meeting various customer needs. It has the features as described below.
- size: 12 X 11 X 2.5 (cm)
- by modulizing necessary features, you can organize them by application (WLAN, BT, Mobile TV, GPS, 3.0" ~ 4.8" LCD (VGA, WVGA, QVGA), PMIC, HSDPA etc. )
- Customers can create a daughter board by themselves and activate features they want.
- you can measure current consumption by application.
- you can activate Power Management feature (DVS, peripheral equipment Power Control etc.)
- batteries can be used and Charging circuit is included.
- a little restriction in board size and parts
