High Capacity

Reduced interference provides networks with increased data transfer speeds and a smoother handover between cells, resulting in an enhanced all-round performance. The flexible Smart LTE Networks™ come in centralised, distributed or hybrid configurations and are available for both Frequency Division Duplexing (FDD) and Time Division Duplexing (TDD).

Smart Cluster

Samsung Smart Cluster serves to enhance network connectivity by reducing inter-cell interference and boosting the network's operational performance, and is easily deployed via Ethernet backhaul. This results in a significant reduction in capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational expenditure (OPEX), as well as a decrease in the number of cell sites required. The improvement in cell-edge capacity offers smoother handover across cells.

Smart Cloud

This high-performance solution provides operators with an optic backhaul and a marked reduction in network capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational expenditure (OPEX). Similar to our Smart Cluster solution, the reduction in interference with the cell edge ensures smoother, more successful handover across the network and can provide excellent Voice over LTE (VoLTE) performance with minimal jitter. The cloud radio access network (RAN) configuration offers enhanced efficiency by delivering real-time radio resource management. In addition, it conveniently connects hundreds of cells to a single bank base station.

Smart Engine

Smart Engine is a common platform for solutions which improves network performance and enhances subscriber experience. This advanced portfolio of solutions for next-generation networks facilitates telecommunications and IT convergence, and can easily be delivered over general-purpose IT servers. Smart Engine includes advanced scheduling, cloud computing, mobile content delivery, self-optimisation and smartphone signalling reduction. These features represent an effective method for improving the capacity and functionality of mobile networks.
