On January 7th, Samsung Electronics unveiled a wide variety of new products during its annual press conference at ICES 2009 in Las Vegas. These latest innovations demonstrate Samsung's ongoing commitment to delivering a seamless digital experience.
Samsung showcased an extensive new lineup of LED TVs. The Samsung Luxia LED TV lineup boasts improved picture quality, 40% less energy consumption than traditional LCD TVs, and an ultra slim design. The Luxia LED TV lineup is also 100% mercury and lead free.
Samsung also introduced the new 850 Series of plasma TVs and a redesigned 750 Series of LCD TVs. The ultra slim PDP 850 measures at just over one-inch thick and meets Energy Star v3.0 guidelines. The LCD 750 Series has a 240Hz refresh rate which is four times faster than standard LCD HDTVs.
