To greet the hot summer, Samsung Electronics unveils a new dual-color-display handset – SGH-S208. The exciting color, sound and features of this phone resembles the unique characteristics Hong Kong’s summer.
SGH-S208 is the JavaTM phone for tech-savvy as well as entertainment enthusiasts. It is design and entertainment focus. Through its dual-color LCD, users can experience a host of JavaTM games, JavaTM karaoke capabilities, 40 polyphonic ringtones and color animations via WAP download from Samsung Fun Club (samsungmobile.com.hk). The large internal screen measures 128 x 144 pixels and can show up to 65,536 colors for JavaTM applications.
The SGH-S208 allows users to download contents of “JavaOK” and “JavaTM Game” via Samsung Fun Club, including pop songs’ Java TM karaoke, and Java games like Mahjong Tower, Happy Mahjong, Big 2 Clinic, Red & Blue and Jump Jump Boy and so on. Other features include infrared data connectively and 40 polyphonic sounds. An external STN 256-color LCD offers users the convenience of quickly identifying incoming calls by their number. Pre-loaded applications include personal information management suite, calculator and exciting wallpaper patterns.
The handset measures of 80 x 40.5 x 22mm. With slim battery, SGH-S208 weighs only 75g. The S208 is available for purchase through SAMSUNG Anycall brand shops in Causeway Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui and through authorized distributors.
