Samsung First to Break 5 Million Mark in Annual LCD Monitor SaleSimultaneously Launches Latest TFT-LCD Monitor 152S in Hong Kong
In November, Samsung became the world's first manufacturer to break the 5 million monitor barrier in annual TFT-LCD monitor sales, providing its technological capabilities lead in the global market. The company has taken advantage of its LCD manufacturing capability to rapidly develop business in this important sector, allowing users to appreciate the best-in-class display technology and enjoy a wider product range.

As part of the celebration of Samsung's success, the company has also unveiled the new 15-inch TFT-LCD monitor, SyncMaster 152S, which strengthens both its LCD leadership and its selection of LCD monitors. Samsung's 152S features a sleek and contemporary design, and pays particular attention to user convenience by adapting a versatile double-hinge design, enabling easy height and tilt adjustment to make viewing more pleasurable.

The brand new Samsung 152S LCD Monitor supports analog video signals, which provides a high resolution of up to 1024 x 768dpi, a contrast ratio of 500:1 and 250cd/m2 brightness. In addition, the monitor offers a 140°and 120°viewing angle and weighs only 2.9kg, hence it can be mounted on walls or ceiling for maximum space-saving flexibility. 152S also has a built-in speaker style as an user option.

To date, the world's largest TFT-LCD manufacturer, Samsung Electronics, has introduced nine 15-inch LCD monitor models in Hong Kong, including 151P which was designed by F.A. Porsche. Other models like the 152T, 151B, 151BM and 151S are specifically designed to meet with users' requirements across different disciplines. The 152S is the latest 15-inch strategic model and is available at HKD$ 2,780.
