Samsung Electronics unveils new Tri-band Color Phone SAMSUNG Anycall SGH-S108 with Style, Convenience and High-Speed Data
Samsung Electronics today launched a tri-band color phone (GSM/DCS/PCS 900/1800/1900MHz) – SAMSUNG Anycall SGH-S108. Sales of the SGH-S108 are expected to begin in Hong Kong and Macau in January 6, 2003.
The businesslike SGH-S108 color phone provides compact usability featuring a high resolution true color display, GPRS Data Access, WAP 1.2 browser with One-touch WAP access for downloadable applications and EMS (Enhanced Messaging Service) capability. The folder-style phone has a large color LCD display showing 128X160 pixels.

Its EMS capability lets users to combine text, graphics and imaging content into one message. The phone includes pre-installed fun message templates to send impressive greetings. Additionally, the handset supports GPRS for fast download and when user needs to connect to the Internet via laptop or PDA.
The SGH-S108 weighs 92g, has dimensions of 88.5 x 46.5 x 23 mm, provides up to 4 hours of talk time and up to 84 hours of standby time, and comes with handsfree accessories.
