The contemporarily designed stylish P4H family embeds superb brightness and contrast ratio of 1000cd/m² and 3000:1 with an extended resolution of 1024768, offering users a supreme visual experience.
Adapts the Strengths of Samsung’s 4th generation Plasma panel
The Samsung 4th generation Plasma panel, P4H adds to the existing strengths of its 4th generation Plasma Panels with its remarkable brightness of 1000cd/m² and 3000:1 contrast ratio, and further extends its resolution up to 1024 X 768, which is compatible for both PAL (720 X 576) and DVD (NTSC) systems. The Samsung P4H plasma TV family also supports a 160º (vertical / horizontal) viewing angle, offering users the finest and most convenient display capability.
Enhanced TV Signal Receiver
With two embedded TV tuners for PAL and NTSC systems, P4H plasma users are able to receive TV signals without using additional set-top-box or video equipment, providing ultimate convenience for multimedia AV entertainment customers.
The Samsung P4H is also the first in Samsung’s 4th generation plasma panel TV family to install enhanced TV signal-receiving functions in a bid to establish better noise reduction and better display performance.

The Samsung P4H Plasma TV family is available in 42-inch and 50-inch models and features a black-laminated frame with mega-silver body that represents the epitome of Samsung’s ‘living art’. Excellent Display Technology
Samsung’s innovative P4H Plasma TV family also features Samsung DNIe™ technology which analyzes and optimizes incoming signals through a series of four advanced algorithms including Motion Optimizer, Contrast Enhancer, Detail Enhancer and Colour Optimizer. DNIe also facilitates improved noise reduction for both analog and digital visual signals input, generating the clearest and most natural display performance. In addition, the P4H employs a DCDi processing circuit, eliminating jagged images and faithfully reproducing smooth video motion when dealing with the 3-2 Pull-Down cinema progressive scan, optimizing DVD display performance.
The Future of Digital TV Is Available Now
The Samsung P4H supports high-definition TV (HDTV) 1080i and progressive scan functions, making it the most versatile screen for use both today and in the future. The 42” Plasma comes with DVI-D input which provides greater multimedia choice for users, enabling them to build their personal A/V centre. With the integrated 2-way 10-speaker system, users can enjoy premium surround sound quality even when watching TV.
