The Electronic and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) first launched its “Energy Efficiency Labelling Scheme” in 1995. The scheme serves to inform consumers of an electrical product's energy consumption and efficiency, enabling consumers to make a more informed choice when shopping for electrical products. The scheme aims to eliminate electronic products with less energy efficiency. To qualify for labelling, the product must comply with several requirements.

The Samsung Plasma and LCD TV will be available at Samsung Digital Zone and other major electrical appliance outlets. For information, please visit http://www.samsung.com/hk/products/tvplasmadisplay/ or contact Samsung Electronics at 2862-6008.
