The
Hong Kong Champion Final of the Samsung sponsored World Cyber Games
(WCG) created a huge stir when it opened today as thousands of spectators
descended on the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre to witness
the territory’s best gamers shoot, fight, race and plot their way to
a place in the Grand Final in Monza, Italy, in October.

started in 2000 and has grown in scale and popularity since. This year’s
Grand Final in Italy will see over 700 of the world’s finest gamers,
