introduced four new LCD monitors to its award-winning line of SyncMaster
displays – the 931C, 971P, 215TW and 225BW.

SyncMaster 931C monitor. The 19-inch SyncMaster 931C delivers 18% improved
color quality making it an ideal choice for digital camera enthusiasts.
It uses technology that reveals colors never before seen on an LCD monitor
this size, allowing users to experience the rich colors of life’s limitless
palette. The realization of CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp) 97%
– the world first in a monitor – moves this model beyond the limitations
of what was previously possible and delivers a groundbreaking color
gamut of 97% – a 18% improvement on the previous best color reproduction.
This
visionary new monitor also has a 2000:1 dynamic contrast ratio meaning
that every detail and outline of every image stands out, no matter how
dark the scene is; furthermore, ghosting and blurring when watching
movies or playing games are greatly reduced by the SyncMaster 931C’s
fast response time of 2ms (GTG).
User-friendly features are also one of the major characteristic of
this model. It has MagicBright™ for seven preset viewing environments,
MagicTune™ to enable all the image adjustments to be controlled by the
simple click of a mouse and Wall & Arm mounting for convenient and
versatile set up.
In keeping with Samsung’s commitment to producing innovative products
with ergonomic design, the SyncMaster 931C’s glossy surface, translucent
blue LED power button, organic edges and softer contours ensure eye
comfort, aesthetic satisfaction and a new fashion trend for LCD monitors.
The SyncMaster 971P can be curved, flexed and positioned to any height
or angle imaginable, giving stunning displays every time. This monitor
has a 178˚ viewing angle, both vertical and horizontal, providing wide
unrestricted viewing whether the viewer is sitting, standing or walking
through the room. The freedom of movement is enhanced further by Magic
technology. MagicStand™ allows the monitor to be raised, lowered, folded
and tilted for optimum viewing angles while MagicRotation™ operates
automatically when the monitor is pivoted, providing maximum comfort
and visibility.
Beautifully and efficiently designed, the SyncMaster 971P is worth
watching even when the monitor is switched off. The streamlined acrylic
bezel, sleek flowing base and cool blue LED light are features of the
‘soft minimalism’ that characterizes the design style of this product
series. Its three-jointed design serves not only to increase flexibility
but also to decrease bulkiness. Moreover, the sophisticated look of
the monitor is not tarnished by a nest of tangled cords because it has
USB and power cord ports neatly tucked away into the base.
This model also comes with MagicBright and MagicTune, and has a 1500:1
contrast ratio and 6ms response time (GTG).
The
21-inch SyncMaster 215TW and 22-inch SyncMaster 225BW give a new and
better perspective, maximum resolution and wider format. The 215TW offers
a WSXGA+ (1,680 x 1,050) wide format, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m2
brightness, and a 8ms (GTG) response time. Similarly, the 225BW features
a 700:1 contrast ratio, 1680 x 1050 resolution, and a 5ms response time
With S-PVA panel, SyncMaster 215TW provides 178° ultra wide view angle
display which has all the connections needed for the ultimate home entertainment
experience. DVD, audio, camcorders, headphones and other AV devices
can be easily hooked up while built-in speakers deliver direct sound.
Home users will experience ultra high resolution video images and superb
quality due to the HDCP supported Digital Visual Interface (DVI) while
the PIP (Picture in Picture) and PBP (Picture by Picture) features will
prove useful for both entertainment and work purposes.
These two monitors also include MagicTune, MagicBright and MagicRotation.
The latter allows the monitor to be rotated from a horizontal to a vertical
angle to allow more convenience when reading documents. They also have
digital / analog dual inputs, a built-in power supply and are VESA®
wall-mount compatible.
