Following the recent launch of Intel® Corporation’s second-generation Centrino® Duo mobile technology, Samsung Electronics has unveiled its first notebook PCs with the new Intel® Core™ 2 Duo mobile processor. The R55CV01, Q35C005, X11CV05 and X11C002 notebooks take full advantage of Intel’s latest processor breakthrough to deliver even more powerful performance.

The Intel® Coreä 2 Duo mobile processor technology promises a more than 20% increase in multi-tasking performance, and compatible with upcoming Microsoft® Windows Vista™ and 64-bit operating systems.
The Ultimate in Home Entertainment and Gaming: Samsung R55CV01 is built for the infotainment enthusiast, with a stylish design aesthetic and advanced audio, graphics and display technologies. Equipped with the new Coreä 2 Duo processors, 100GB hard disk and 1GB PC2-5300 (667MHz) DDR2 memory means that these sleek machines now deliver the ultimate multimedia home and gaming performance that has to be experienced to be believed.

All four upgraded notebooks are now available in Hong Kong. Samsung R55CV01 and Q35C005 have a suggested retail price of HK$10,980. Samsung X11CV05 and X11C002 have a suggested retail price of HK$12,380 and HK$10,580 respectively.
