The 22-inch SyncMaster 225MS will meet an increasing customer demand for larger monitors. With a wide aspect ratio of 16:10, this display has also been designed to suit the natural viewing angle of the human eye, making it significantly more comfortable for both work and entertainment purposes than monitors with conventional 4:3 wide ratios.

The 225MS also offers 700:1 contrast ratio, a high 1680 x 1050 resolution and a 5ms fast response time. The latter feature reduces ghosting and jagged pixel effects ensuring more stable viewing of TV, DVD and video streaming.

This monitor also incorporates two of Samsung's proprietary Magic Technologies: MagicTune? and MagicBright3?. MagicTune is an easy-to-use, on-screen interface that allows you to use your mouse to control all of the Magic Technology picture adjustments from one place. MagicBright3 automatically optimizes brightness, contrast and gamma correction, based on the specific application. With a push of a button, users can easily switch between Text, Internet, Movie, Game, Sports, Custom and Print View modes, to help ensure the best picture quality.

As with all the monitors in the MAGIC series, a strong focus on style and user comfort is evident in the exterior design of this model. Built-in speakers and a soft-touch sensor for turning the unit on and off provide increased convenience and chic. The 225MS has simple smooth edges and contour, which, along with the glossy black finish, create a relaxing visual effect. For increased flexibility this display also has a wall- and arm-mounting feature.

Art Series: Combining Style and Quality for All-Purpose Applications

The SyncMaster 732N and 932B look more like objets d'art than the versatile 17- and 19-inch TFT-LCD monitors that they are. Nature was the muse that inspired the designers of these displays; a fact evident in the way their organic lines soothe the eye. The elegant simplicity of their exteriors is made possible by a boltless surface finished in high-glossy ebony-black and ivory-white and set off by a sparkling jewel-like LED power button backlit in translucent-blue.

With a revolutionary new ball-hinge mechanism, the elegance of the 732N and 932B exteriors is reflected in the fluidity of their movements. The world-first elastometer ball allows unprecedented flexibility and freedom for graceful rotation of the monitor.

Although these models could sit comfortably in any art collection, they are also designed to be used. Both the 732N and 932B offer solid specifications, including a 700:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time, 1280 x 1024 resolution, making them ideal for home entertainment and gaming, as well as SOHO users.

These two displays also feature three of Samsung's proprietary Magic Technologies, MagicColor™, MagicBright2™ and MagicTune, as well as an auto adjustment feature that automatically optimizes the image for the screen. Giant Series:
Innovative Features for an Optimum Windows Vista Experience

The SyncMaster 931BW, 206BW and 226BW make up a series of 19-, 20- and 22-inch widescreen LCD monitors. All three monitors feature a lightning fast 2ms (GTG) response time, making them a particularly attractive choice for those who appreciate the comfort of working with a larger screen, movie-lovers, and gamers who seek true-to-life images and a vivid gaming experience.

The trio of monitors also features excellent specifications that provide premium performance, value and style to home and commercial users. The new monitors are packaged in a sleek and stylish design, complete with a shiny black bezel. The 931BW monitor also features a resolution of 1440 x 900, a dynamic contrast ratio of 2000:1 and 300 cd/m2 of brightness. Both the 206BW and the 226BW model feature an ultra-high resolution of 1680 x 1050 and a dynamic contrast ratio of 3000:1.

Intelligence Series:
A Monitor for Professional Users with Demanding Color Needs

Designed for color critical applications, desktop publishers, video and photography editors and graphic designers, the 20-inch Light Emitting Diode (LED) Back Light Unit (BLU) SyncMaster XL20 monitor that features 114% of the National Television System Committee (NTSC) color gamut supports users that demand extremely accurate color temperature, linearly color tracking, brightness uniformity and color reproduction. Traditional LCD screens typically cover only 82 percent of the NTSC standard color gamut (CRT covers 76 percent), while the new XL20 utilizes a unique light emitting diode back light unit (LED BLU), increasing the color gamut up to 114% of the NTSC color gamut. The LED BLU can significantly enhance images, producing a more natural range of color, and covering the full Adobe RGB natural color space / gamut and CMYK colorspace. The LED backlight lacks mercury and halogen, making it more eco-friendly than conventional monitor light sources. Samsung’s Super LED Backlight technology received the prestigious European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) “Innovation Award” for 2006/2007.

The XL20 is further enhanced by a Color Management System (CMS) that helps provide vivid and precise color. CMS includes X-rite Huey, which enables color calibration for more accurate quality control, and Image Viewer, an intuitive tool that previews color differences between monitors and printers. CMS also provided Natural Color Expert software, allowing users to calibrate the monitor's color profile to fit their specific color requirements.
In addition to its ultra-wide 114% NTSC color gamut and innovative color performance, the XL20 offers other notable specifications, including an impressive 600:1 contrast ratio, a wide 178 degree viewing angle, a fast 8ms (GTG) response time and high resolution of 1600 x 1200.

This attractive model also comes with a quick 5ms response time, 1280 x 1024 resolution, 170-degree horizontal viewing angle, analog and DVI interface, as well as Samsung's proprietary Magic Technologies: MagicBright2, MagicColor and MagicTune.
