Accidental Screen Damage Cover for Mobile Phones
手機螢幕意外損壞保障

As a Club S member who has i) purchased a Samsung Mobile Phone with a confirmation letter number of between 1 and 3,500 (“Product”); and ii) registered for Club S Membership within 14 days of the purchase, your Product also receives the following Club S Accidental Screen Damage Cover. We, Samsung HK, have purchased this cover for you from AIG Insurance Hong Kong Limited (“AIG HK”) and the cover is automatically provided to you as a membership benefit of Club S.

閣下已購買了三星手機(“產品”),而有關保障確認信之編號於1-3500之內,並在購買後14天內登記註冊成為Club S的會員,您的產品將受到以下Club S螢幕意外損壞保障。我們,三星電子香港有限公司(“三星香港”),已經從美亞保險香港有限公司(“美亞保險”)為您購買了本保障,并自動提供給您,作為Club S的會員所享有的特權。


Period of Accidental Screen Damage Cover: Your Accidental Screen Damage Cover commences on the date of the purchase of your Product and ends one year from that date.

螢幕意外損壞保障期:您的螢幕意外損壞保障始於您購買產品之日起計提供一年保障。


Parties to the Accidental Screen Damage Cover: AIG HK which covers the cost of repairing your Product in the event of Accidental Screen Damage to your Product. You are the insured, for these purposes. For any enquiry on the Accidental Screen Damage Cover, please e-mail AIG HK at cs.hk@aig.com. Samsung HK's only role is to pay the premium to AIG HK and to provide the Service Centres at which your Product may be repaired.

螢幕意外損壞保障的締約方:美亞保險為保險公司, 提供產品螢幕意外損壞保障,您的產品螢幕在意外損壞的情況下,美亞保險將支付維修您的產品之費用。就該等目的,您是受保人。若您對於螢幕意外損壞保障有任何疑問,請電郵美亞保險: cs.hk@aig.com。三星香港的角色和職能是支付保費予美亞保險,並提供服務中心為您維修產品。


  1. In the event the screen of your Product is damaged by Accident (as defined in Section B below) occurring within 1 year from the date of purchase of your Product, rendering the screen broken or unusable, then you may take the Product to our Service Centre for the screen to be replaced or repaired.You must, however, bring your Product for screen replacement or repair to the Service Centre within 14 days of the date the Accident occurred, otherwise your claim will not be covered.

    您的產品螢幕從產品購買之日起1年內發生意外(如下面的B節所定義),使螢幕損壞或無法使用,那麼您可以帶同受損產品到我們的服務中心對螢幕進行更換或維修。您必須於事故發生之日起14天內把需要更換或維修螢幕的產品送到服務中心,否則您的索賠不會受理。


  2. To be eligible for a claim, the screen damage must have been caused by an Accident, meaning an unexpected and unintentional external event (e.g. dropping it) that arises from normal daily usage of the Product. Accidental Screen Damage does not include:

    要符合申請索賠資格,螢幕的損壞必須由意外所造成,意指在正常的日常使用手提電話時發生的不能預料或非故意的外在事件(例如: 跌落) 。手提電話螢幕意外損壞並不包括:

    1. normal wear and tear to the Product;
      產品的正常損耗

    2. damage resulting from fire,
      火災造成的損壞

    3. theft or misplacement of the Product;
      產品遭偷竊或遺失

    4. damage resulting from reckless, abusive, willful or intentional misconduct associated with handling and use of the Product; or
      因魯莽、不正確使用、故意毀壞或不當使用及操作產品;或

    5. any resultant damage to the Product that arises from one or more conditions described in (i) to (iv) above;
      任何在上述的(i)至(iv)的一種或多種情況下產生的產品損壞


  3. The cost of such repair shall be borne by the insurer AIG HK, from whom we have purchased for your benefit insurance to cover the cost of such repair or replacement. You will however, have to pay a service charge of [HKD$300] in the event of a claim.

    此維修或更換的費用將由美亞保險承擔,為使您能得到此項保障,我們已從美亞保險購買保險以保障此類維修或更換的費用。您只須支付港幣300元的服務費。


  4. Accidental Screen Damage Cover only applies to one event of screen damage.

    螢幕意外損壞保障只適用於一次螢幕損壞事件。


  5. For the avoidance of doubt, Accidental Screen Damage Cover only covers the repair and replacement costs of the screen. There is no coverage whatsoever for any loss or damage to person or property, direct, consequential or incidental damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Product. Further Accidental Screen Damage Cover does not cover any defects which are subject to a manufacturer's recall or which are covered under a manufacturer's program or reimbursement.

    為免產生疑問,螢幕意外損壞保障範圍只覆蓋螢幕的維修及更換費用。這並不覆蓋任何個人或財產的損失或損壞,由使用或無法使用手提電話所導致的直接、間接、或附帶損壞。此外,螢幕意外損壞保障的範圍亦不包括任何產品缺陷,其將由製造商採取召回或其它的程序予以解決。


  6. If the screen of your Product is damaged by Accident and other parts of your Product are also damaged by Accident, then you will have to bear the costs of repair or replacement of the non-screen elements which have been so damaged. If, in these circumstances, you do not wish to pay for the repair or replacement of the non-screen elements and this renders it impossible to repair or replace the screen, then there will be no coverage for the screen under this Accidental Screen Damage Cover.

    如果您的手提電話螢幕及手提電話的其他部件均是由意外導致損毀,您需承擔螢幕以外的其他損壞部件的維修或更換費用。如果您不希望支付該非螢幕部件損壞所衍生的維修或更換費用,而這將導致螢幕亦不能維修或更換,在這個情況下螢幕將不能受本螢幕意外損壞保障所保障。


  7. To be able to process your claim, you will have to present your Original Receipt for the purchase of your Product and your Accidental Screen Damage Cover Notification at our Service Centre. Without these, you will not be able to make a claim.

    以便能夠處理您的索賠,您需要前往三星維修中心,出示您在購買手提電話時的單據及螢幕意外損壞保障確認信之正本。若您未能出示單據及證書之正本,你將無法進行索賠。


  8. Coverage for Accidental Screen Damage ends either when i) you make a claim for Accidental Screen Damage and your screen is repaired or replaced: or ii) 1 year from the date of purchase of your Product, whichever happens first.

    當1) 您已完成一次螢幕意外損壞索賠及您的螢幕已維修或更換; 或2)自購買手機日期起計1年期間屆滿,以先發生者為準,螢幕意外損壞保障將會完結。


  9. You appreciate that Samsung HK makes no representations and offers no advice on the suitability of this coverage, nor does it hold itself out in any way to be in a position to provide such advice. Should you have any questions about the terms and conditions herein you should contact AIG HK, the insurer directly (e-mail provided above). This cover is automatically provided to you by AIG HK on your becoming a member of Club S. Under no circumstance shall Samsung HK or its affiliates, or any of their employees, agents, service providers, suppliers, sub-contractors, directors, officers or shareholders be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of profit or loss of business, caused by the failure of the Product, loss of use of the Product or the repair, faulty repair or replacement of the Product, even if such loss or damage are attributable to or caused by the fault or negligence of Samsung HK or its affiliates or any of their employees, agents, service providers, suppliers or subcontractors.

    您了解三星香港不就這個保障作任何有關陳述,並且不提供有關這個保障的適用性的建議,也不聲稱自己以任何方式提供此類建議。如果您對這個保障的條款和細則有任何疑問,您應該直接聯繫美亞保險(電子郵件如上面所提供)。此保障是您成為Club S的會員後自動由美亞保險提供。在任何情況下,三星香港或其附屬公司,或任何其僱員,代理,服務商,供應商,分包商,董事,高級職員或股東不會就任何產品的故障,使用本產品之損失或產品之維修、維修故障或更換產品(即使這種損失或損害是由於或因三星香港或其關聯公司或其任何員工,代理商,服務商,供應商或分包商的過失或疏忽造成的) 而導致的任何間接,有連帶關係的或相應的損失或損害(包括但不限於利潤或業務上的損失) 承擔責任。

  11. On repairing or replacing the screen of your Product per the terms of this coverage, AIG HK is legally obliged to pay us for the repair or replacement and we have the right to recover that payment directly from AIG HK. In this regard, you hereby acknowledge and agree to transfer to us the right to claim reimbursement for such repair or replacement cost from AIG HK.

    根據本保障的條款作出對您的手機螢幕的維修或更換,美亞保險在法律上有責任向我們支付維修或更換費用,及我們擁有直接從美亞保險獲取該等費用的權利。因此,您特此確認並同意將向美亞保險獲取該等維修或更換費用的權利轉讓給我們。


  12. In registering for Club S membership and complete the product registration on ClubS website which automatically provides you with this Accidental Screen Damage Cover, you hereby acknowledge and agree that the serial number of your Product will be passed to AIG HK solely for the purposes of administering the Accidental Screen Damage Cover.     註冊成為Club S會員並於ClubS網頁完成產品登記 將自動為您提供這個意外損壞螢幕保障,您特此確認並同意,您的產品編號將被傳遞給美亞保險,產品編號將僅用於處理及管理螢幕意外損壞保障。有關美亞保險香港有限公司的私隱政策,請參閱http://www.aig.com.hk/zh/privacy-policy


  13. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese version of this document, the English version shall prevail.
