Are Plasma TVs Affected By Cold Temperatures?

Last Update date : 2012.01.10

Samsung Plasma TVs have an operating temperature range of 32° F to 104° F (0° C to 40° C). Temperatures outside the listed ranges will affect the operation of these TVs. Consequently, you should not install or use a Plasma TV in areas where the temperature will be near or below freezing or where temperatures will exceed 104° F.

Samsung Plasma TVs can be stored at temperatures ranging from -4 °F to 113 °F (-20 °C to 45 °C). Storing a Samsung Plasma TV in an environment with temperatures outside this temperature range can damage the TV.
