Question : Which Video Input Is The Best?

Answer : The following list shows video input formats, ranked from best quality to worst:

*This resolution is only available under certain conditions. Conditions include but are not limited to.

1080p Through Component: This resolution is only available when the external device allows 1080p content to be sent through component. For example: the X-Box 360 allows 1080p content to be displayed through component cables.

1080i, 720p, 480p Through Coax: These resolutions are only available when using the TV's internal ATSC or QAM tuner to decode a digital broadcast that is broadcast in that resolution.

HDMI includes both digital video and digital audio. DVI includes digital video only. Component, S-Video, and Composite are analog formats.

Note: Some video components have RGB inputs and outputs. RGB quality is comparable to that of the Component format.
