FOTA - Firmware Over The Air Upgrade requirement

Overview

 

-    FOTA stands for Firmware Over The Air.

-    This a process by which the end-user can update the handsets software “over the air”

-    There is no requirement for a connection with a pc system.

-    The process is available via both 3G and Wi-Fi networks ( - however if upgrade performed via

      the 3G network, downloading may incur additional charges)

 

 

Requirements

 

-    Stable network status (3G or Wi-Fi)

-    Enough battery capacity (More than 50%)

-    Enough memory space (At least 100MB in USB storage)

-    Samsung account (Create or sign in)

-    PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE the battery during upgrade

 

 

NOTE We only support software that has been authorised by Samsung.
