My Samsung printer’s paper tray is loaded but when I print, it says 'MP tray empty'. How do I fix this?

The MP (manual paper) tray is different to the normal paper tray. You will need to ensure that the correct paper tray is selected in the printing preferences. This can be done by following the steps below:

- Click Start then select “Control Panel”

- Under Hardware and Sound, select Printers.

- Right click on the Samsung printer and select “Printing Preferences”

- Go to the “Paper” tab.

- Under “Paper Options” make sure the Source is set to “Auto Select” or “Tray 1”. If MP tray or Manual Feeder tray is selected, the printer will not obtain the paper from the normal paper tray.

- Click OK to save the settings.

Your printer should now print correctly with the paper in the paper tray.
