Android 5.0 Lollipop: I think some applications are slower than other applications. Why?

Last Update date : 2015.02.26

feedback

From Android 5.0 Lollipop, a new application file format is applied on the Android platform.
Due to these changes the file formats of each installed application must in turn be updated and recently used applications are updated first during the initial booting after the upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

So it’s possible that some applications are not yet updated fully to the new format after the OS SW update.

When re-opening some un-updated apps for the first time they may take slightly longer than before to open due to initial optimization process required with Android OS 5.0.
The application speed will be normalized after file format update.
