Occassionally, my S6 edge + freezes or is unresponsive. How can I resolve this?

Last Update date : 2015.09.11

If your Galaxy S6 edge + freezes, you can perform a reboot by pressing the volume down and power buttons simultaneously for approx. 7 seconds.

If, after performing a reboot, you are still experiencing an unresponsive device, you can try some of the following actions:

1. Use the S6 edge + SMART Manager app to optimise the device and check for Malware.

2. Create memory space by transferring files to your PC or to a cloud-based storage account (Google Drive, Dropbox etc.)

3. Check for software updates via the Settings menu (Apps>Settings>About device>Software Updates)

4. Perform a Factory data reset on your device. N.B. Please ensure that you have backed up all your files and data as the factory reset will wipe your device.

If your issues persist, please contact us via one of the links below and we will be happy to help.
