What is the difference in camera between Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S6?

Galaxy S6’s camera supports 5312 X 2988 of 16:9 ratio with 16M pixels and Galaxy S7 supports 4032 X 3024 of 4:3 ratio with 12M pixels. As dual photodiode is applied to the camera of Galaxy S7, pixel size is larger and the number of pixels is reduced. Even though number of pixels is reduced, detailed expression of camera is equal to or more level as it maintains each pixel’s horizontal line number.

 

Rather, because Galaxy S7 applies the new lens and dual photodiode sensor, more bright and clear images with less noise can be taken.
