How to Transfer Data from my old iOS device to my new Galaxy device using iCloud?

We would like to introduce an easy and fast way to transfer data using our Smart Switch application from iOS device to Galaxy device through iCloud. Please keep in mind that this method is only possible if the Operating System (OS) version on your old device is iOS 5.0 or higher. 


Transfer Procedures

1. Please upload all of your old device data onto the iCloud



2. Download the smart switch onto your new device. You can download the Smart Switch Application from Samsung Galaxy Apps or the Google Play Store.


-  Search for "Smart Switch"

-  Click agree to the terms and conditions

-  Install the Smart Switch application.


Please remember that Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge devices have Smart Switch function pre-loaded.

3. When you enter Smart Switch, you can see terms and conditions. Please click "agree".



4.  Then you can see a screen to select type of Operating System, such as iOS, Android, or Blackberry. Please select iOS and click "Start"



5. Please enter your iCloud ID and password and log in



6. You can see data list uploaded in iCloud. Then select data list you would like to transfer, and click "import".



7. Please click OK for wifi connection. Then, your new device is downloading data list from iCloud.


If your device is not connected with wifi, a pop-up is displayed which is about additional charges.



8. It may take some time to transfer data depending on the data volume you want to transfer. After quick data transfer, you can view all transferred data and volume of it.
