What should I do if Connection between Gear S2/S3 and iPhone become Unstable?

Last Update date : 2017.03.15

Compatible devices are iPhone 5 or later with iOS 9.0 or higher.

Reasons of Disconnection

1.  In case of iPhone 6S, 6S+ upgraded to iOS 10.x version,

the connection between the iPhone and the Gear may be unstable due to firmware issues of the device itself.

Connection may be often disconnected.

2. Disconnection may appear when iPhone is connected simultaneously with additional Bluetooth devices, e.g. Bluetooth headsets, speakers, hands-free etc.

At that time, please disconnect all the devices paired to iPhone, including hands-free device (HFP).

Then, reactivate Bluetooth after turning off the Bluetooth feature of iPhone.

We recommend not connecting simultaneously with additional Bluetooth or hands-free devices while iPhone 6S/6S+ upgraded to iOS 10.x version is paired with Gear.
