Unable to set up the wireless Internet sharing function of Easy Network Manager

Last Update date : 2015.09.23

Unable to set up the wireless Internet sharing in Easy Network Manager. If a sharing server is set, 'Wireless sharing server is unsupported' message appears.

[Consultant / Service]

Easy Network Manager provides wired Internet sharing function only. The wireless Internet sharing function has been deleted due to a problem that prevents connection intermittently in Windows Vista. To use a wired sharing, you have to add an additional wired device for sharing.

To use wireless sharing, use the function provided by the operating system as follows.

  1. Connect the server system to wired LAN and set up the system to connect to the Internet.
  2. In the Sharing tab of the Local Area Properties, select "Share another network user's Internet".
  3. Enter the connections or network settings of the network sharing center.
  4. Run temporary wireless network settings.
  5. Create an SSID, connect to the server by finding the SSID in the client system and connect to the Internet.
