Important: If you recently installed a Microsoft Keyboard, the program Microsoft IntelliType or IntelliType Pro may interfere with the operation of the function keys on your computer. To resolve the issue, end the process using Task Manager and then uninstall the program IntelliType or IntelliType Pro from your computer.

To end the process using Task Manager, follow these steps:

  1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc. (Task Manager dialog appears)
  2. Select the Processes tab.
  3. Select itype.exe, and then click End Process.
