The MultiXpress K2200 series comprises of two models, the K2200 and K2200ND. The K2200 is the standard model, while the K2200ND has network functionality and double-sided printing. Both support copying and scanning.

Boost Productivity with Outstanding Performance
Samsung’s focus for the MultiXpress K2200 series is powerful performance. The MultiXpress K2200 series delivers powerful printing speeds of 20ppm and a colour scan speed of 30 images per minute (ipm), faster than any of its competitors. It is the only model in the same class to support real 1200 x 1200dpi resolutions in printing mode, which is four times greater than the usual 600 x 600dpi resolution.

Eco-friendly for Cost Reduction
A number of professional and eco-friendly functions have been added to help reduce operating costs. This includes the choice of a higher yield toner (10,000 pages) and drum (80,000 pages). The printer also has low power consumption when in sleep mode. The amount of total energy consumption (TEC) is a mere 0.97kWh which results in a 27% reduction in energy consumption compared to models in the same class.

The MultiXpress K2200 includes Samsung’s unique “Easy Eco Driver”, which was awarded 2012 Winter Pick by Buyers Labouratory, a U.S. based testing body, for its ability to reduce the amount of toner and paper required. The feature brings about an anticipated cost reduction saving of up to 20% by allowing the user to adjust the font or font size on the printer’s screen without changing the original document. Users can also choose to exclude some images and text before printing to further reduce the amount of toner and paper used.

Easy to Use, Easy to Install
The printers have an innovative feature that allows users to copy both sides of an identification card. The printers also feature four-line LCD panel to enable easy operation. In addition the models have also been designed to be 35% smaller than comparable MFPs, making it easy to install in any small office environment.

First in the Industry to Receive Certification
The MultiXpress K2200 series became the first in the printer industry to receive product safety certification from Underwriters Labouratories Inc. (UL), a top safety standard development organisation in the U.S. UL evaluates a wide array of products, including electrical equipment and industrial machinery to ensure that stringent health and safety standards are met.

In India, Samsung became the first electronics manufacturer to receive the Certificate for Safety for its Printers for energy efficiency. The BIS division offers its certification for state-of-the-art green technology complying with the latest international environmental guidelines to help organisations comply with green best practices. The Electronics and Information Technology Goods (Requirements for Compulsory Registration) Order 2012 issued by Deity includes products such as LCD televisions, LFD monitors, laptops, tablets, microwave ovens and printers amongst others. Samsung India has applied for BIS Registration for most of its relevant product categories earlier this year and was given the first registration for its printers in June 2013.

Samsung India has a comprehensive portfolio printing solutions spanning colour and B/W Copiers, Printers and MFPs, for personal, workgroup or enterprises usage, along with Solution Softwares. With the addition of the MultiXpress K2200 series, Samsung printing solution portfolio has 33 models across its Copiers, Printers and MFPs that are priced between Rs. 5,799/- to Rs.500,000/-.
