The quality of the screen is decent not optimal. I was ok with it. Ive had my monitor for less than a year. I was really happy until I decided to invest in an arm for my screen. There are screw holes on the back which means this monitor should be good to put on wall or arm. It was to my surprise that, the absolute only way to remove the base from the screen is taking the monitor completely apart. I now have a cracked monitor and very disappointed in Samsung!! You should not have to go through all that trouble to remove the base! Why would they put the screws inside the monitor? No bueno if you want to hang or put this screen on an arm!!👎🏽

My experience over the months has been great! The display is crisp and clear with blue-screen filtering setting; the outer white casing is a nice change; and unlike other reviewers who commented on Excel documents being distorted due to the curved surface, I have not experienced any difficulty or needed an adjustment period. I was on the fence between the 27” and the 24” curved display. I’m glad I went with the 27”, but I’d recommend the 24” for smaller workspaces. (We have 2 of each and they are all great!)

This is my first 20+ inch monitor, and I enjoy it. Has a good display and it only having two inputs doesn't bother me. It works great for me with day to day tasks, watching movies or videos and the occasional game. I sometimes forget that it is curved whenever I am looking head-on at it. Even at a distance and off center, the picture is good. The only gripe I have with it is that the combined stand pushes it a bit to forward for my taste, used to monitors that have the connectors coming up. But it is VESA compatable so just need to find a stand or mount I can use. Just wish the documentation was a bit more detailed for the connector specs, but a great monitor never the less.

my old 23 inch monitors were acting badly so i decided to replace them. i found thes for a good price. wasn't particularly interested in the curve but the reviews were good. got them set them up and now don't understand why curved isn't a standard. my son who is a gamer saw them and said he was going to get them when his died. my wife ordered hers the day after i got mine. sharp color great viewing angle. you wil not regret buying this monitor

for gaming, this is a great monitor. for windows at least. with current-gen consoles, the screen gets choppy in motion especially with motion blur turned on but when connected to a windowspc paired with an rtx 2060 with freesync turned on, it works good and i get 71hz instead of 60hz. this would probably work better with amd cards but its not gonna be able to catch up with the performance on what you are gaming on. i'd say for 2020 standards 75hz should be the minimum for the ps5 and xsx along with amd's 6000 graphics card series and nvidia's 3000 series. yet, if you were to get this now, it would be better for productivity so it shouldn't really be labeled as a gaming monitor. but, it does get the job done.

I absolutely love this monitor! I upgraded from a very old acer 1680x1050 20" monitor and man am I glad I did. Love the Freesync integration, the build is beautiful, screen looks amazing. The only things I could ask for are a height adjustable stand (though I'm very happy it is vesa compatible) and a higher refresh rate. I'm also not a big fan of the joystick menu navigation as I would prefer dedicated buttons. To me these are all very small things though and I'm so happy with the product I'll soon be purchasing 2 more and setting up a curved surround setup WOOT WOOT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i love the looks and features of this monitor, with very easy setup and plug n play hdmi capability, it is quite easy to use with my macbook. however, i have had this monitor on 2 different desks (one at my office, one at home) and it has been very shaky/unstable on both surfaces. even simple typing will cause the monitor to shake a great deal (making it difficult to utilize). it's as if the stand connection to the back of the monitor housing itself is not stable enough. does any one else have this problem?

You attach this monitor to your laptop or PC via HDMI cable. You are immediately notified that it installed High Definition Audio Device Drivers for the monitor and the AUDIO settings in Windows change your output to them. You lose ALL SOUND until you change it back to the Built-in Laptop Audio (in the case of a PC - you do not have this). What a FARCE!!! Why advertise the HDMI Audio if you have no speakers from which to play it?

Love the quality, ease of use & price (Wal-Mart). But, can you recommend other mounting options? #1 the base that came with monitors (I bought 2) tilt the monitors slightly down. #2 are there mounting arms you’d recommend I buy in order to free up more desk area? In other words, mount the new mounting arms to monitor and the desk? To free up desk space and have the ability to adjust the monitors up & down? Thanks in advance!!!

I mainly use it for streaming movies or to ultimately see my phone screen in a larger capacity as I am older and seeing my small screen is difficult at times. I really have nothing negative to say about the monitor other than it doesn't have built in speakers. That aside this is a fantastic monitor and I'd purchase it a second time if I needed to.

It has great controls to set up the default off times and other adjustments. Great options of connecting video and audio cables. It is nice to be able to adjust the light intensity. The Eye Saver Mode optimizes your viewing comfort. I recommend this monitor to anyone.

When it comes to everyday use you cannot get any better monitor than this, I use a lot of graphs, pie charts , etc. Everything is so precise and clear and self correction is outstanding. I think that for the price is a great monitor. In the beginning I’m trying to figure out if having speakers but I understand that this is not very important to me because I have a good computer speakers to connect with. Color are very good and the save eyes is very important to me because my eyes are very sensitive. In general, I like and I think is a great computer monitor.

I am a CAD draftsman and sit in front of a computer 8-12 hrs at a time. Although I have just begun to use this monitor I can tell the curved feature will help with eyestrain. Colors and details are quite nice. Setup was easy, quick, and problem free. HD photos look good. Apologies... I have not tried any HD videos or installed an aftermarket graphics card.

Bought three of these 6 months ago, and one has already failed. Keeps turning itself off and on. No big deal I thought, it's under warranty. Well after setting up a samsung account and adding my product, I'm still waiting (week and a half) for them to validate my warranty so it can be repaired or replaced. Not what I was expecting from a name brand like Samsung.

my lc24 f390 fhn curved monitor boots up clear and sharp about half the time. the other half it boots up as a lot of flashing horizontal colored bars. this occurs both from start up and from sleep mode. the only solution so far has been to disconnect the hdmi cable from my nuc cpu and reconnect. i shouldn't have to do this.

Switching from and LG 24" flat (2yrs old) to this Samsung 24" Curved and let me tell you, it's night and day. First of, going from 1000:1 to 3000:1 ratio makes you feel how crisp pixels are. Also, you have dynamic, gamer and eyes saver mode which are pretty neet. Easy to install, plug and play in a jiffy!

I bought this monitor and was disappointed right off the bat. This was broker from the moment I opened it. I went to plug it in and the screen appeared white and fuzzy as if the colors were inverse. I played with all the menu options and couldn’t fix. Would not buy as this seems like common issue.

I am highly disappointed in the structure of this monitor. The design was poor because the monitor is not balanced with its base. It wobbles from any slight bump on the table. There is nothing to keep the screen secure. The wobbling is extremely distracting when trying to work.

It is a good monitor. You may ask why the 2 star review? Buy it, then tell me what the "engineering design" folks were thinking by putting the power button on the back. Wait, it gets better. It's also joystick to maneuver through the menu AND the power button.
