My Camcorder Powers Up, But Will Not Record. What Should I Do?

If your camcorder powers up but does not record, try the following:

  • Be sure that your camcorder is in camera mode.
  • Be sure that the inserted SD card, DVD or tape is not full.
  • Be sure that the protection / lock is not enabled on the SD card or tape.
  • Try a new SD card, DVD or tape.
