How to use Selective Focus on the camera of the Galaxy Alpha?

Follow the steps below.


1. Tap on the Selective Focus Icon.

  Read and scroll through the on screen advice regarding the selective focus feature then

    tap OK.

2. Tap on the camera button to capture a photo. Select by tapping on the screen, the

    object or subject you want to be focused.

3. The device will process the image captured.




4. Tap on the Gallery icon to view the image you have captured.

5. Tap Selective Focus icons on picture.

6. Tap on "Near Focus" to focus on the subject in the foreground.

7. Tap on "Far Focus" to focus on the subject in the background.

8. Tap on Pan Focus for a general clear image withno specific area being focused and blurred.


9. Tap Save Button to save the desired picture result.

When taking photos with Selective focus feature, ensure there is sufficient distance between

the subject and the background.


You should position the subject between 10 cm to 70 cm from the device.


The device’s photo quality may be affected if you take photos of subjects that cannot be clearly

distinguished from the background.


Avoid unrecognizable backgrounds, such as dark shadows, or plain walls.
