Why is it that my keys are controllilng my Galaxy S3's screen where in fact it does not respond to stylus?
The Galaxy S3 is not faulty in this case.
Samsung improved the sensitivity of the touch screen of Galaxy S3 for the purpose of having a better "S-memo" experience. With that, they supported the Galaxy S3 with a capacitive touch screen.
However, the threshold value used in the Galaxy S3's touch screen to function with the human skin and a C-type pen is similar to that of a key. With that, Galaxy S3 recognized the key like th C-pen.
Moreover, the user has been cautioned in the user's manual not to store the device with metal objects like coins, keys, or necklaces to avoid involuntary control and function of the device even while not in use.
