When I try to add a new bookmark to my Google account when using the internet browser, the Note3 doesn’t appear to support “Google account” – however previous Samsung device (e.g. Galaxy Note2) did support this feature – is my device faulty?

Your device is not faulty – The change is due to a “concept change” by Google.

 

Google no longer supports “Sync Internet” option. You can only sync  / add new bookmark pages via a Samsung account only.
