Galaxy Note 3 - My device only display notification panel after rebooting. Why is this ?

Samsung is aware of this symptom which may appear on some devices

and can be addressed with security policy updates

or Factory data Reset of your device.

To resolve this phenomenon which may happen on your device,

please update security policy manually. (Method 1)

Or if you cannot update Security policy,

please perform Factory reset to restore your device. (Method 2)

(Before factory reset, please backup your device

via Samsung Smart Switch PC to avoid unexpected data loss)

Method 1 - Security policy updates

1. Scroll down Notification Bar to open notification panel.

2. Tap Settings icon.

3. Tap Security.

4. Tap Security policy updates.

5. Tap Check for updates.

After check notification and rebooting your device.

please make backup copies of all important data stored in the device via Smart Switch.

 

1. Instal Smart Switch PC on the PC,

connect your device through Data cable and then backup all data which you want.

 

2. Scroll down Notification Bar to open notification panel.

4. Tap General - Backup and Reset.

5. Tap Factory data reset.
