How do I bring the Galaxy S4 to safe mode?

To troubleshoot whether or not that the installed applications are causing issues with the device, you may boot up the device to Safe mode. In Safe Mode, only the default applications and features will be available.

 

 

How to go to Safe Mode?

 

1. Power off the Device

 

2. Press and hold the Power key for one or two seconds  to turn on the device

 

3. The moment Samsung logo appears, press and hold the volume down key until the lock screen displays. Safe mode will be displayed on the lower left fo the screen.

 

 

If the device is working properly in the Safe Mode, uninstall the third party application or app updates using the Application Manager. to access the app, follow the path below:

 

 

PATH: Menu->Settings->More->Application Manager.

 

Tap on Downloaded tab. Select an application you think is the most recent and then uninstall. Do the uninstallation of other applications if problem persists until the device works well
