Take a Great Picture – of Yourself

The DualView is a new spin on a digital camera. With the popularity of social networking sites and photo sharing sites people are taking pictures almost everywhere. Whether it is a hiking trip through a National Park to a day trip at the shops, people want to record where they are and what they are doing. Now you can smile for the camera and be the photographer at the same time.

In addition to having two screens, the DualView ST550 has a 27mm wide angle lens. The 4.6x optical zoom gives you a wider shooting range from a shorter distance, with more flexibility than 35mm cameras.

Go for a Group Shot

DualView cameras include a feature called "Couple Mode" that recognises faces and automatically takes the shot when you and your better half get close together in the frame. For group self-timer shots, a countdown timer is displayed on the front screen, so everyone knows exactly when to smile. And, there’s “Jump Shot Mode” which provides a visual cue on the front screen so your whole group can jump together at the same time.

Capture that Smile

Taking pictures of a young child is easy with the DualView’s Child Mode. This feature displays funny animation on the front screen to instantly capture your subjects attention and put them at ease to help you get that perfect shot every time.

Capture Images in Hi-Def

Not only is it important to get everyone—including yourself—in the shot, but it's crucial to ensure that your most precious moments are captured in high-quality resolution. The DualView comes fully equipped with a true colour-filtered 12.2 megapixel CCD to help guarantee some of the sharpest images available. It also produces incredibly detailed images that can be used for printing poster-sized photos.

The Smart Auto feature analyses key elements of your composition such as colour, brightness, motion and subject—and then automatically adjusts to take the perfect shot. Smart Auto has 16 different preset modes, for a variety of settings. These modes can be bypassed for manual control.

Shoot Pro-Quality Videos

Want a great movie of your son's birthday party? Do it yourself, using the DualView ST550 to record HD video in 1280x720p resolution at 30 frames per second. The H.264 format also allows you to record twice as much as an MP4 and four times more than an MJPG—the format used in many other digital cameras—and delivers a much higher video and sound quality.

Now all you'll need to do is practice your perfect smile.
