KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – September 10, 2013 – Samsung Malaysia Electronics announced today the launch of Samsung Digital Variable Multi System (DVMS), a revolutionary air conditioning system built for commercial use.

“Samsung is always committed to continuously discover and innovate products that can maximise efficiency and minimise costs. In line with that, Samsung DVMS comes with three smart concept which are Smart Savings, Smart Design and Smart Control to ensure product efficacy,” said Kwon Jae Hoon, Managing Director of Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn. Bhd.

Smart Savings

Samsung DVMS is built with the Dual Smart Inverter (DSI) that has both compressors operating simultaneously to provide balanced oil distribution, quick cooling and heating for better energy efficiency. The third generation Vapour Injection Technology with the compressor increases the refrigerant flow rate by 20%. As a result, Samsung DVMS offers superior Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) and European Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (ESEER) with an average of 13% higher EER and 4% higher ESEER.

Smart Design

To save installation space, the Samsung DVMS is 40% more compact than conventional VRF Systems. It also has a longer piping length up to 220 metres, enabling it to be installed on the top floor of a building up to 110 metres in height from the indoor unit. This eliminates the need for a mechanical floor, thus maximising use of space within the building.

Smart Control

The Smart Management System in Samsung DVMS facilitates off-site diagnosis. The Auto Commission and Management enable the status of the system to be checked remotely. This device is able to provide automatic inspection and test reports and diagnose any problems that the system might be experiencing. via smartphones, tablets or PCs with the S-checker. With this feature, the status of the air conditioning system can be checked off-site, enabling contractors to receive an update on the system’s performance with ease.
