How do I erase and reset my Galaxy Note 2 phone?

Last Update date : Oct 28. 2020

Use this guide to erase all data from your phone.

It will not affect any information saved to your external storage (card), if you have one.

Once erased, the data cannot be recovered so please read all the instructions carefully:

From the Home screen, tap the Menu key.

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Next, tap Back up and reset.
  3. Followed by Factory data reset.
  4. Read the screen carefully and if you are happy to proceed, tap Reset device.
  5. Again, read the screen carefully and when ready, tap Erase everything.
  6. Your handset's internal storage will now be erased and reset to factory settings
