When you purchase a SAMSUNG Side by Side or French Door refrigerator with ice and water dispenser, it comes equipped with a water filtration system. Whether located inside or outside the refrigerator, this filter guarantees a reduction in contaminants, so you can enjoy fresh, filtered water right from your Samsung Refrigerator.

Certified Performance

Samsung water filters are tested and certified by NSF International, a not-for-profit, non-governmental organisation dedicated to public health, safety, and environmental protection. Its certification is widely recognised around the world as a guarantee of safety.

Contaminants Reduction

Samsung water filters, using only high grade carbon blocks, remove over 99% of potentially harmful contaminants which may be present in your water such as:
-Chlorine Taste & Odour. Chlorine is widely used in water treatment as a disinfectant but may infer particular odors and tastes to water. -Heavy Metals & Chemicals. Lead, asbestos, benzene, mercury and carbofuran are common industrial contaminants with high toxicity which can infiltrate water sources. -Microbial Cysts. Parasites such as cyrptosporidium are commonly found in lakes and rivers. They have a high resistance to disinfectants such as chlorine.

Filter Light Indicator

Refer to your refrigerator digital panel for the filter light indicator. When it is time to replace the filter, the light will turn red. You may also place a month sticker (included inside every cartridge package) on the filter cartridge as reminder.
