[Windows 8] Removing Password for Windows 8 User Account.

     Removing Password of a Local Account

‘Press Windows 8 logo + C key’ –> Click ‘Settings’.

 

.

Click ‘Change PC settings’.

 

.

Click ‘Users’ menu.

 

.

Click 'Sign-in options’ - ‘Change your password’.

 

.

Type ‘Current password’, and click ‘Next’.

 

.

Leave the ‘New password’ field empty, and click ‘Next’.

 

.

Click 'Finish’ button.

 

.

Reboot your PC and check to see if the password is removed.

     Removing Password of a Microsoft Account

 

 

.

Check for network connection.

 

.

Press Windows 8 logo + R key.

 

.

After typing ‘netplwiz.exe’, click 'OK' button.

 

.

Choose the proper Microsoft account, uncheck the

‘Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer’ box,

and click ‘OK’.

 

.

After typing password, click 'OK' button.

 

.

Reboot your PC and check to see if the password is removed.
