Galaxy S3: Enabling Swype mode in Samsung keyboard settings

To enable Swype mode in Samsung keyboard settings on your smartphone (Android 4.3), follow these steps:

 

Step 1: On the Home screen, tap on the Apps icon.

 

  

 

Step 2: Tap on the Settings icon.

  

 

 

Step 3: Tap to select Language and input.

   

 

  

Step 4: Tap the settings icon next to Samsung keyboard.

   

 

 

Step 5: Tap to tick the checkbox on Continuous Input. (note: this refers to swype method)

  

 

 

Note: The name used for the "Swype" feature may change depending on the Language setting selected.

 

Swype™ is a text input method that allows you to enter a word by sliding your finger from letter to letter, lifting your finger between words (for space). Swype uses error-correcting algorithms and a language model to predict the next word. This also includes a tapping predictive text system.
