What is Blocking mode?

Blocking mode disables incoming calls (except for those on the allowed list), notifications, alarms, and the LED indicator. 


Note: This information applies to the Android OS Version 4.4 (Kitkat) and Android OS Version 5.0 (Lollipop). Interruption feature was replaced by Do Not Disturb feature for Lollipop.


■  For Android Lollipop version follow the steps below (Steps for Android Kitkat is below the Lollipop guide):

Step 1: On the Home Screen, tap on Apps.


Step 2: Tap on Settings.


Step 3: Tap on Sounds and notifications.


Step 4: Tap Interruptions.





Step 5: Tap the On receiving calls and notifications.


Step 6: Select Only allow priority interruptions.


Step 7: Select your preferred time, then tap on Confirm.


Note: If you want to block a specific number, you'll need to access this function from the Call Settings.



■  For Android Kitkat version see steps below:


Tap Menu  > Settings  > Device  > Blocking mode . 


Next, tap the slider  to turn Blocking mode on

Place a check mark beside the features you want to disable. A green check mark will appear. Choose from Block incoming calls, Disable notificationsDisable alarm and timer, and Turn off LED indicator.





Set the length of time you want Blocking mode to be active or select Always to keep it on constantly.


To receive notifications, select Allowed contacts. Then, select Custom to add specific contacts to the Allowed contact list.
