How to disable Google Factory Reset Protection

Google FRP (Factory Reset Protection) is enabled automatically when a Google account is registered on a device and disabled if the Google account is removed. If the Google FRP is enabled, you will need to enter your Google account credentials before you can do a factory reset on the device.


Step 1: On the Home screen, tap Apps.





Step 2: Tap Settings.





Step 3: Under Settings, tap Accounts.





Step 4: Tap Google.




Step 5: Tap on the name of the Google account.





Step 6: Tap More.





Step 7: Tap Remove. FRP is now removed.
