Why does Wireless charging take longer than normal?

■  Make sure that the center of the device is correctly aligned with the centre of the charging pad.


■  If there are objects or materials between the device and the wireless charging pad, the device may not charge to it's full potential. Keep the back of the device and the charging pad clean. Use a soft cloth and gently wipe any dust off from the surface of the charging pad and the back of the device.


■  Use a Genuine Samsung charger and cables with the correct input voltage and current. If the charger is not an Adaptive Fast Charger, it will not input enough power into the Charging Pad.


■  If you have a protective case it may cause interference and cause slower than normal charging speeds.


■  If you use the wireless charging pad in areas with weak network signal, you may lose network reception on your device. This will cause your device to constantly search for a stronger signal, which consumes battery charge. This will decrease the charging speed and will take longer than normal to charge.
